The “Heart of the Gorge” trip is a unique experience that invites you to explore the entire canyon of the Ardèche Gorge in 2 days, combining adventure with total immersion in nature. The pace is more pleasant than a one-day trip. This route is accessible to all and offers two unforgettable days away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
The Heart of the Gorge 30 km in 2 days
You start the trip by crossing the Pont d’Arc before entering the Gorge nature reserve, a truly wild sanctuary. An overnight stay in one of the bivouacs set up, Gaud or Gournier, gives a unique dimension to the experience. An evening under the stars to enjoy the peace and quiet and the imposing cliffs.
It will take approximately 3 to 4.5 hours of paddling on the first day, depending on the bivouac you have chosen. After a night in the heart of the gorge, the trip continues the next day to Sauze. You will arrive there in the afternoon. This trip allows you to avoid the rush of the day trips and fully enjoy the beauty of each place.
Note: Before booking this trip, remember to check the opening times and availability of the bivouacs (overnight stay in the bivouac is not included).
